Google Fit – Activity Tracker iOS

Google Fit 简介

Get to a healthier and more active life with Google Fit!

It’s hard to know how much or what kind of activity you need to stay healthy. That’s why Google Fit collaborated with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Heart Association (AHA) to bring you Heart Points, an activity goal that can help improve your health.

Activities that get your heart pumping harder have tremendous health benefits for your heart and mind. You’ll earn one Heart Point for each minute of moderate activity like picking up the pace when walking your dog, and double points for more intense activities like running. It takes just 30-minutes of brisk walking five days a week to reach the AHA and WHO’s recommended amount of physical activity shown to reduce the risk of heart disease, improve sleep, and increase overall mental wellbeing.

Google Fit will also help you:

Get insights and see stats such as heart rate, speed, pace, route, and more for your runs, walks, and bike rides.

See your daily progress on your Heart Points and steps. Meeting your goals all the time? Easily adjust your goals to keep challenging yourself to achieve a healthy heart and mind.

All physical activity can help you lead a healthier life, and with Google Fit you can track it all in one place. Working with your favorite fitness apps and devices, Google Fit builds a journal of your activity. And to make sure Fit never misses a workout, you can manually add any activity your other apps didn’t track – from Aerobics to Zumba!

Google Fit can show you info from many of your favorite apps and devices that are compatible with Apple Health to give you a holistic view of your health, so you’ll never lose track of your progress. These include Lifesum, Runkeeper, Strava, MyFitnessPal, Headspace, and more.

See a snapshot of your activity history across Google Fit and your integrated apps in your journal.

Does this app work with Pokémon go on iPad mini 4

i have 12 kids in my

The app in question is a very strong reliable app it is free ( unlike some competitors ). links to your google account. and helps get you working out. Although it does have its problems I wish it could link up to your fit bit and I also wish it could have instructional daily workout videos. All the “problems” with the app aren’t necessarily problems but could add to it. To sum it up more people should know and use this app

I have the same user id for google fit in both iPhone and fossil sport watch. For a week it seemed to work fine. The last two days though I see the data in iPhone app is not the same as that in watch app.

Ever since the last update a week ago Google Fit has stopped recording my sleep. I thought this was suppose to fix bug issues NOT CREATE THEM!

Overall a good app. A good way to keep track of your workouts. I have this app synced with the exercise app “fiton” and it does not always record my workouts accurately. For example, for some workouts, Google fit says I’ve only done 1 minute of exercise, when in fact it was 30 minutes! Good app overall but it’s not always accurate.

I like the app and I use it in my iPhone 8plus and my Note 9. Probably the biggest I have is that the apps do not sync with other on these two different platforms. Occasionally, I have seen it to where it lags anywhere from 5 steps to over 100 steps with the other fit apps on my note 9. Overall though, I will give it 4 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️.

As the day progresses, I lose heart points from my morning work out. What’s the point of heart points if they give you some then take them away the more you move throughout the day. Doesn’t work with my Samsung app so I had to purchase another app the link the two and google fit doesn’t work reliably! Ridiculous. At least it’s free. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t work.

sophia robayo

It checked in the morning after I ate and the steps were correct but it said from 301 steps I burned 838 calories which we all know ISNT TRUE DIDJDHS

I used to like this app a lot, but since updating to the latest version, whenever I log a high intensity workout for say 45 minutes, it says my move minutes is only 20. Please fix this bug- this was easily my favorite app but now I’m getting frustrated as this isn’t tracking my activity correctly

This is a bad app that makes me feel frustrated many times, it arrives while walking, for example 20 points, then after one minute it returns to number 10 or less, so I get frustrated and I do not continue walking

App does not capture the entire activity and can’t rely!!!

Works but pretty basic. The steps to miles conversion is way off. 11,000 steps equals 2.9 miles according to calculations. This might be accurate if I were 3 feet tall. Such a basic program surprised not more from Google.

Since the update, the app is no longer showing the activity from my watch. It just doesn’t update even though I have activity and steps, it shows I have none!

The calories count is way off. I run 3 miles every day at 7 mins per mile. The calories on my watch are about 300, but once data transmitted to google fit, calories change to 20. How possible?

Nocturne Touch

I recorded months worth of blood pressure information on an Android device that will not sync with my iPhone because the iOS version doesn’t have that input option. All my other activities synchronize just fine. Please add blood pressure input to the iOS version of this app.

I about died mowing the lawn in the Texas summer. It took me about an hour in the 95* heat that feels like 107*. I wore my Fossil smart watch that’s supposed to pair with this app. My phone told me I took about 500 steps while my watch told me I only took about 1000 steps. Another app usually tells me I walk about 3500 steps. My heart rate went up to 145bpm and I scored no heart points. Yup. Disappointing

I just recently discovered this app. For me it is very helpful to see pace and heart rate charts on the same scale together. Great visualization, glad to see heart points. Great app and nicely designed.

I would love to see more activities listed like pushups and sit ups would be nice a way to track my calories and more!!!

If you could connect it with apple watch and read the exercise and sleeping data from it

Bidish Halder

It picks up the steps from iOS, that’s why atleast somewhat shows nearby value. Distance – way off based, calories burn estimation – bogus. Can’t differentiate between step lengths like walking & running. Don’t have capability to measure floors climbed. Over all just serves step count and that too iOS integrated info.

The slugggg

Today did 50 minute walk at 18 minutes pace. Only 3 heart points. 👎

Kalps Pras

This is another great Google app, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Sometimes it doesn’t sync from Health, which is annoying. Also, you can’t add steps manually. Overall I like it but I expected more functionality and less bugs.

Happy Grateful

You can put in calories burned, miles run, time spent on. And fake a report.

Can no longer initiate heart rate on demand. Gives info from 15 minutes prior😔

Very usefull and works as advertised… *Please add “Flights Climbed” to be read from Apple Health App on the coming updates. That’s the only one missing. I recommend this app to a friend.

The watch changed so now I can’t tell what calories are active and which ones are just resting. And heart points are very unclear

janelle rodriguez

I get that android and iOS are competitors but for the sake of all things holy, compete. I have to manually enter sleep tracking for my wear OS watch because I prefer google’s pricing and features but to track my sleep I’d have to switch back to Android and even then manually sync Sleep like android or stay with my XS Max and pay the money for a watch costing almost as much as an android phone.

Absolutely useless. Replaced my old FitBit with a new smart watch that uses WearOS and Google Fit to track activity. I love the watch, but I HATE HATE HATE this app. FitBit offers SO many more things than this one does, nutrition tracking and period tracking among them. And often my watch won’t track my steps or other activity despite the fact that I have it synced with my phone. So I’m reduced to using my watch as a really high-end timepiece instead of the stuff it’s actually intended for, and using my FitBit for actual health tracking.

I have walked the same park for the first two days. Each day it gives me different readings. I walked to the post office yesterday and it didn’t register any steps for the first three blocks. I’m doing this for work. I’m not an avid walker. After the work program ends I won’t continue using this app. I won’t recommend it either.

I decided to use this app instead of the Apple Health app as the Health apps miles are incorrect. Google Fit does track the miles correctly but it takes hours for it to update. The steps are updated in real time. I don’t know why the miles don’t update in real time.

I uninstalled it after the last update. I loved having the active time tracker not steps. Everyone does steps. The time tracker worked great for me because i spend a lot of time riding. I could ride 30 miles and track the exercise. Not with the step tracker only. Please give us an option.

The whole point of having an app on the phone is that you can track what you’ve been using on your personal fitness device (smart watch, heart rate monitor). For over a week now the app on the phone will not record my workouts that I’ve started from the watch and thusly isn’t syncing the data from watch to phone. Idk what the problem is but it needs to be fixed. First time anything like this has happened on a google device for me

Good couponer

Suggestion introduce Google Fit Rewards take part in health related Market Research like track your steps, track heart rate, and other research to earn points that can be redeemed for PayPal cash or gift cards for stores and restaurants all this data can be used for Market research activities thank you

Way less user friendly now, harder to navigate and read.

I used Google fit because I wanted to track more than just my steps. I could always see my steps in my activity, it just wasn’t the only thing counted. The combination of being able to check my heart health and my activity was far more useful than counting my steps and lumping in all other physical activity as just heart points (irrespective of my heart rate).

I really liked the app before this new update where the move points were switched with steps. I don’t have the luxury to walk around a lot . At most, I get about 2,000 steps a day. I found it more motivating to log my move points, because it counted for any work out I did. I think steps and move points to be an option and let the user pick which one works best for their fitness lifestyle.

This app has basically zero features and can’t write to apple health. The convenience of a health app is to have everything in one place. This app doesn’t do that and it was Google’s choice not to. Nothing like making a closed system that’s broken. This is a Google fail.

This is what google has in its privacy policy: “When you’re not signed in to a Google Account, we store the information we collect with unique identifiers tied to the browser, application, or device you’re using. This helps us do things like maintain your language preferences across browsing sessions.” It means they tie your health Dara to you and share with advertisers. No thanks. DELETE!

The app is good getting other information from health, but for some reason it won’t import the sleep data… I have to input it manually

Whenever I’m trying to set a workout goal, it gets really buggy. It would like give you the steps that you set as a goal without you accomplishing anything.

I was using to track my steps and for no reason it stopped counting my steps. I have to delete and download the app again.

This app could get more attention put into like the rest. It has the heart points, but doesn’t detect the heart points from my health app on iPhone or watch. I have monitored my heart beats walking and running and it still gives a zero. I give it three because I love google products and I won’t give up on it 🙂

Useless, works only with google account, which is impossible to recover

Is there any way to get the journal info with map routes to show up? I’ve turned on “Workout Routes” on the Health app and no luck. Or better yet, any way to run this app independently from Health app? This feature works perfectly on Android but can’t seem to get map routes to show up on iOS.

Why are the calories so way off?

I loved this app, but not so much on my iPhone. On my Android it let me track my workouts and also tracked my daily calories burned in general just from being alive, but it doesn’t do either on IOS. It also doesn’t let me edit workouts either, I have to delete the entire thing and input it again which is very annoying tbh.

Argus and apple health has sleep data but doesn’t show on google fit. Needs better syncing.

Used to love this app. However, as for the last update – all my data is wrong or deleted. Frustrating as I was on a winning path. Have to find something else now :-/

I got a new smartwatch and I have an Apple iPhone, but not an Apple Watch. This app is my only option and it is a poor one. The sleep tracking function is so limited, it may as well be nonexistent. The limited functionality of this app makes it painful to use. Poor end user experience to say the least.

Pls make it available for Apple Watch We need it so much
