这张 99 年的《Northern Star》是 Mec C 从 Spice Girl 单飞后的首张个人专辑，最终她极具个性的作风和声线让她得到了肯定，连她自己也形容单飞“是一次浪漫的冒险”，Northern Star 则是她“穿了很久、十分舒适的旧鞋子”。辣妹是红极一时，却只有那只 Goodbye 让我侧目，至少里面道出了那么一丝姐妹情；最后，商业运作宣告到一段落。散伙了。媒体不作宣传，没人知道那么 Mec A、Mel B 都如何了，只了解到 Mel C 去年的新专辑《Reason》，新歌 Here It Comes Again 反应良好，进入排行榜前十了。呵，如果说 NS 是个性，这张新专辑则是性感了：）
